Born in Mysore; the family moved to Onitsha where my father worked. My earliest years in West Africa.

14 formative years across Onitsha and Lagos — the energy and scale of Lagos shaped how I think about cities.

Returned to India. Bengaluru became home — school, family, cricket at Chinnaswamy. Still home base in India.

Chennai taught me hard work the hard way — a unique, fiercely proud culture. Learnt Tamil almost entirely by watching movies.

Went in wanting to be a journalist. Came out interested in public policy and how governments work. Undergraduate at Symbiosis International University, Media & Communication.

Studied international economics and climate policy at SOAS — the first time I seriously engaged with climate before it became mainstream. Learnt how to do rigorous policy research. Moderated a panel at the UN ILO in Geneva.

LAMP Fellowship, then Chief of Staff to MP Prof. Rajeev Gowda — working in the corridors of Parliament, managing legislative research for 100+ MPs. Led a team for the first time. Taught over 100 young professionals legislative policymaking across 4 leading universities in India.

German Chancellor Fellow. Got deeply interested in urbanisation and climate resilience. Visiting Fellow at WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management, Germany's premier business school. Presented research at the European Commission in Brussels.

Senior Consultant at FTI Consulting — led policy engagement for Virgin Hyperloop One's Mumbai–Pune corridor.

Remote base through the Omidyar Network India and India Climate Collaborative years. Always home.
